Make your bedroom a safe haven from allergies and upgrade your night sleep. Eliminate dust mites living in your bedding. Buy dust mite covers for your pillows, mattress and duvet cover. Wash your sheets and pillow cases at least once a week. Replace your pillows if you have had them for more than two years and your mattress if you have had it for more than five to seven years. Keep plants and pets away from your bedroom if you don’t want to wake up to a nasal congestion, itchy eyes or sneezing. Dust and clean your curtains, shades or blinds. Liberate yourself from that clutter! It aids not only allergies, but also emotional and psychological health.
